Members may transfer awards to
their relatives and friends.
All nominees must be members.

 
Nominee Registration
To protect membership rights a list of award transfer nominees must be submitted to China Airlines in advance. To register nominees, members (nominators) must fill out the appropriate columns on the multi-purpose " Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Application Form " and submit it along with a photocopy of their passport or ID card with signature to China Airlines service counter .
Each member is allowed to register up to six nominees. It is not necessary to nominate all six persons at one time. Each name may be changed once within a calendar year. Nominee registration takes five working days to process after it arrives our office.
* Effective from June 01, 2006, members who change their nominees that have been previously registered for award transfer will need to wait for a period of 60 days before they proceed to transfer an award to the substituted nominees. Effective from 01 Sep. 2008, members who replace another previously registered nominee have to wait 30 days from the date of replacement before applying award transfer.
* The nominee registration of a Junior Flyer must be co-signed by a legal guardian, who must also be a member.
 
Award Transfer Application

With sufficient mileage in their accounts, members can choose the type of award they wish to transfer to a nominee on their nominee list. Members next fill out the appropriate columns on the " Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Application Form " and submit it to China Airlines, along with a photocopy of their passport or ID card with signature.. The award transfer application takes five working days to process.
* When manually process award transfer, a handling charge of 4% mileage of the award will be deducted from account of the member requesting the transfer.
In case there is no sufficient mileage in the account, mileage deduction can be replaced by cash payment: NT$ 600 (or US$20 equivalent in local currency) and NT$900 (or US$30 equivalent in local currency) will be charged for an upgrade award and a free ticket award respectively.

From now on, members may change nominees and transfer award online. For security reasons, to apply or cancel Award Transfer Online Service, members are requested to fill out Award Transfer Online Service Form and submit to China Airlines DFP Service Hotline. The online application takes three working days to process. Please make sure you submit complete documents otherwise application can not be accepted.

 
Award Number
  • After verification, China Airlines will give the member an "Award Number" for each transfer. The "Award Number" can then be used to exploit the transferred award.
  • Please refer to "Award Level and Redemption" for redeem procedure.
  • The "Award Number" is valid for one year from the award transfer date and must be used by the nominee within the validity period. Requests for extensions or mileage refunds for an expired transferred award will not be accepted.
  • The nominee may not retransfer the award to a third person or request to combine it with his/her mileage.
 
Transfer Cancellation
  • Members must have the consent of the endowed nominee to cancel a transferred award.
  • The cancellation must be completed within the award's one-year validity period. Both parties (the nominator and the nominee) must prepare and sign the "Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Application Form" and submit the cancellation request to China Airlines along with a photocopy of both parties' passports or ID cards.
  • Reservations made with an "Award Number" must be cancelled before canceling a transferred award. Mileage that is still valid on the day of cancellation is returned to the nominator once the cancellation process is complete.
  • If an endowed nominee requests a change in the transferred award, the award must be first cancelled and then retransferred.
  • When canceling a transferred award, a handling charge of 4% mileage of the award will be deducted from account of the member requesting the transfer.
